Directions

  1. Cut the pork tenderloin into suitable pieces.
  2. Peel the onion and cut it into strips, and crush the garlic.
  3. Heat a deep pan or a pot over medium-high heat and add the butter.
  4. Put the meat in and cook it until the liquid it releases evaporates, and the pieces become nicely browned.
  5. Add the onion and cook for a few minutes, until it softens and takes on a light golden color.
  6. Add the bay leaves and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Pour the white wine, stir gently, then cover with a lid. Let it simmer on low heat for about 1–1.5 hours, stirring occasionally, until the meat becomes tender and flavorful.
  8. Finally, add the crushed garlic, stir well, and let the dish cook for another 2–3 minutes. Serve hot, alongside polenta, eggs, and cheese. Enjoy!
