For the dough:

  • Butter Căsuța Mea 82,5%
    110 g
  • Sugar
    120 g
  • Vanilla Sugar
    10 g
  • Chicken egg
    2 pc
  • Kefir Căsuța mea 2,5%
    150 ml
  • Flour
    240 g
  • Baking powder
    8 g
  • Baking soda
    1/4 tsp
  • Salt
    1 pinch

For the filling:

  • Apples
    6 pc
  • Sugar
    20 g
  • Cinnamon
    4 g

For the topping:

  • Brown Sugar
    60 g
  • Cinnamon
    5 g

Directions

  1. Peel the apples and cut them into cubes or thin slices. Mix with sugar and cinnamon. In a bowl whisk together melted butter, sugar and vanilla sugar.
  2. Add eggs and mix well. Stir in yogurt or kefir until smooth.
  3. n another bowl mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until smooth.
  4. Line the baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter. Mix brown sugar with cinnamon.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the pan. Sprinkle half of the topping and add half of the apples.
  6. Repeat the layers: batter → topping → apples. Bake at 175°C for 50–70 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Let cool for 10–15 minutes. Serve warm or cold with yogurt, sour cream or ice cream.
