  • Mixed mince (beef and pork)

For the dough:

  • Chicken egg
    4 pc
  • Salt
    0,5 tsp
  • Kefir Căsuța Mea — kefir with probiotics and yogurt cultures
    200 g
  • Sour Cream Căsuța Mea 20%
    200 g
  • Flour
    185 g
  • Baking powder
    13 g
  • Sesame
    to taste

Directions

  1. (baking pan 21 × 28 cm)
  2. Heat a pan with a little oil. Sauté the finely chopped onion and garlic until they become soft and lightly golden.
  3. Add the minced meat, season with salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaves. Cook until the liquid has completely evaporated. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool down.
  4. In a large bowl, beat the eggs together with the salt. Add the kefir and sour cream, then mix until you achieve a smooth, homogeneous mixture.
  5. Incorporate the flour mixed with the baking powder and stir until the dough becomes smooth and free of lumps.
  6. Add the grated cheese and finely chopped greens over the cooled meat, then mix well.
  7. Grease the baking pan with a little oil. Pour in half of the batter, spread the filling evenly, then cover with the remaining batter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top, if you like.
  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 50–55 minutes, until the pie turns a beautiful golden brown.
  9. Let the pie cool down slightly, then slice it and serve. Enjoy!
