Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 160°C. Grease a baking pan (about 22 cm in diameter) with butter and sprinkle a little flour.
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar until they become slightly frothy. Add the vegetable oil and mix well.
  3. Separately, mix the flour with the cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and baking soda. Incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
  4. Grate the carrots on a fine grater and add them to the batter along with the sour cream and chopped walnuts. Mix well, pour the batter into the mold, and bake for 45–50 minutes, until the cake is golden and passes the toothpick test.
  5. Let the cake cool, then slice and serve. 🥕 Enjoy!
