Directions

  1. Sauté the finely chopped onion in a saucepan with oil, add the bell pepper cut into cubes with the chopped garlic, sauté for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add the butter to the flour mixture, sauté for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Pour in the water, add the well-washed lentils, bulgur, and rice. Season with salt, black pepper, sweet paprika, add finely chopped mint, and stir.
  4. Cover with a lid and simmer over low heat for 50-60 minutes, stirring regularly (you can also add water or broth according to preference).
  5. Serve the soup with fresh mint and croutons. Enjoy!
