Directions

  1. ✅ For the sourdough starter, mix all the ingredients together, leave at room temperature for one hour, then refrigerate for 5 hours.
  2. ✅ Soak the raisins in water for a few hours, then drain the liquid.
  3. ✅ For the dough, mix the flour with the sugar, yeast and salt.
  4. Add the condensed milk together with the milk and water, mix for about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the sourdough starter, continue to mix for about 15 minutes.
  6. ✅ Continue with the softened butter, mix for another 5 minutes.
  7. ✅ Fold in the drained raisins and shape the dough.
  8. ✅ Cover with a towel and let it rise for 90 minutes.
  9. ✅ Divide into 3 equal pieces, shape into balls and let rest for 15 minutes.
  10. ✅ Stretch each piece into a rectangle, fold the edges along the long side, and roll it up.
  11. ✅ Transfer the buns into a rectangular pan, cover with a towel, and let them rest for 30 minutes.
  12. ✅ Brush the buns with milk and bake for 35 minutes at 180°C.
