Directions

  1. In a saucepan add: Cherry, rum and brown sugar, put on the hob and boil 5 minutes, add the corn starch and boil for 2 minutes.
  2. For the Dough, in a bowl we add: sour cream, powdered sugar, almond essence, vanilla essence and salt.
  3. Mix everything, add the eggs and continue beating for 3-4 minutes, Pour in the oil, lemon juice and add the lemon zest, beat a little more.
  4. In a bowl, mix the rice flour with the cornstarch and baking powder.
  5. Incorporate into the liquid mixture and mix until there are no more lumps.
  6. Pour the dough into a 20x20 cm diameter shape.
  7. Add the cherries in syrup over the dough and bake for 50-60 minutes at 175 °C.
  8. Remove the cake, let it cool slightly, cut and enjoy.
  9. Enjoy!
