Add two tablespoons of honey or another healthy sweetener of your choice. Mix well.
Now take two medium eggs, coconut oil or any other oil of your choice, and milk, and mix everything thoroughly. Melted butter can be substituted for the vegetable oil.
Add whole wheat flour, baking soda, a pinch of salt and cinnamon, then add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
Add chopped nuts. I used walnuts. Pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper or greased with butter. Garnish with chocolate, nuts, or dried fruit, if desired. Bake at 180 °C for 45–60 minutes.
The cake looks so good. It’s moist and soft on the inside!
