Directions
Heat the kefir and cream (38°C). In a bowl, beat the egg, pour in the warm mixture, add the sugar, and stir.
Continue with the sifted flour, the baking soda, and the salt.
Stir until no lumps remain. Cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 20 minutes.
Transfer the dough as desired into a piping bag, into a heated pan with oil, shape and fry the oladies over low heat under a lid, on both sides.
Enjoy the oladyi with syrup, honey, jam, preserves, sour cream … or whatever you desire. Bon appétit!
