Easy nut cookies with a crisp texture and rich buttery flavor. Perfect with tea, coffee or a glass of milk.

  • Butter Căsuța Mea 72,5%
    120 g
  • Sugar
    90 g
  • Flour
    260 g
  • Salt
    1/4 tsp
  • Chicken egg
    1 pc
  • Walnuts
    60-70 g
  • Baking powder
    1 tsp

Directions

  1. Beat the softened butter together with the sugar until you achieve a fluffy mixture.
  2. Add the egg and mix again until smooth.
  3. Sift the flour together with the baking powder and salt, then incorporate the dry ingredients and gently knead until you obtain a smooth dough.
  4. Roll out the dough into a sheet about 3 mm thick and cut out the biscuits.
  5. Spread the beaten egg over the biscuits and sprinkle the chopped nuts on top.
  6. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 170°C for 15 minutes, until they turn lightly golden. Enjoy!
