Directions
Place the nuts on a tray and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes, stirring periodically.
Remove the nuts, let them cool completely, put them in the bowl of a food processor and chop them.
Cut the filo dough into the desired shape, grease each sheet with melted butter and place 7 sheets in the pan.
Then a generous layer of chopped nuts, and we continue like this until we finish.
Finally, we cut the baklava into 16 equal parts.
Place the tray in the preheated oven at 180 °C for 35 minutes.
Meanwhile, prepare the syrup, in a saucepan add the sugar, water and lemon juice.
Put on the heat and boil until the sugar melts.
Remove the tray from the oven and pour the syrup over the baklava.
Let it sit for 2 hours, the syrup will be absorbed.
Serve with our favorite tea.
