Directions

  1. For dough. Mix flour, almond powder and baking powder.
  2. In another bowl beat the butter with a goal or mixer, add the sugar, vanilla sugar, salt and continue to beat.
  3. We incorporate the yolks one at a time, add the solid mixture and mix everything well.
  4. We spread the dough between 2 baking sheets with a thickness of 1 cm.
  5. We transfer to the freezer for 30 minutes.
  6. In the meantime: we clean, remove the elbow and divide into 4 equal parts apples.
  7. In a pan we melt the butter, add the cinnamon and slices of apple.
  8. Calim 5 minutes on low heat.
  9. Let the apples cool completely.
  10. For caramel. We melt the sugar in a saucepan, stop the hob and add the butter. We incorporate with a spatula.
  11. We pour the caramel in a diameter form 20 cm. (if detachable we necessarily cover with baking paper)
  12. We place the slices of apple, until only there is an empty space in shape.
  13. Bake 15 minutes, at temperature 180 C.
  14. We decrease the temperature 170 C, bake 20 minutes.
  15. We remove the dough from the freezer, cut a ring with a diameter 20 cm.
  16. Add the dough over the apples, make a few holes and bake 30-35 minutes.
  17. We turn the cake on a platter and serve it both hot and cold.
