  • Plum
    3-4 pc
  • Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Mix the ricotta with the sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla seeds until you obtain a smooth mixture.
  2. Add the grated lemon zest, melted butter, and milk, then mix well.
  3. Incorporate the flour mixed with the baking powder and achieve a smooth and creamy dough.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 22 × 18 cm baking tray, lined with parchment paper or greased with butter.
  5. Place the plum slices on top and evenly sprinkle the two tablespoons of sugar.
  6. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35–40 minutes, until it passes the toothpick test.
  7. Advice You can substitute the plums with other seasonal fruits such as apricots, peaches, or apples. The cake is fluffy, fragrant, and very easy to prepare, making it perfect when you want a quick homemade dessert. Enjoy!
