    6-7 tbsp

  • Lemon Juice

  • Butter Căsuța Mea 82,5%

Directions

  1. In a spacious bowl, whisk the eggs together with the sugar and vanilla sugar for 3–4 minutes, until the mixture becomes frothy and light in color. Add the milk and vegetable oil, and continue mixing until well combined.
  2. Sift the flour mixed with the baking powder and gradually incorporate it into the mixture, gently stirring with a spatula or whisk. Add the lemon juice and mix until smooth.
  3. Peel the apples and cut them into small cubes. Mix them with the grated lemon zest for an extra burst of flavor. Pour half of the batter into a buttered pan (22–24 cm in diameter).
  4. Add the apples, then cover with the remaining dough. Bake the cake in a preheated oven at 170°C for about 40 minutes, until it passes the toothpick test.
  5. Let the cake cool completely, then slice it and serve plain or dusted with sugar. A delicious homemade dessert, with a fresh aroma of lemon and apples!
