Directions

  1. ✅ For the dough, mix the dry ingredients: flour with the dry yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. ✅ Add the egg together with the milk, mix and knead for 15-20 minutes.
  3. ✅ Add the softened butter, continue kneading for 10 minutes.
  4. ✅ Transfer the dough to a baking tray, flatten slightly, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. In a bowl, mix together the softened butter with chopped garlic, egg yolk, and sugar.
  6. ✅ Flatten the dough to a diameter of 25-28 cm.
  7. ✅ Prepare some cuts, then spread the mixture with butter and garlic.
  8. ✅ Between the cuts, add suluguni or mozzarella cheese and bake in the oven for 15 minutes at 180°C.
  9. ✅ Sprinkle with herbs and enjoy the warm bread with pleasure.
