Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  2. Peel the sweet potato, grate it and add it to the bowl along with the whole wheat flour and baking powder.
  3. Thinly slice the green onions, add Căsuța Mea cottage cheese, grate some hard cheese, season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Mix everything well.
  5. Divide the mixture equally among the muffin tins, sprinkle with the remaining cheese, poppy seeds and sunflower seeds, and for a piquant touch, sprinkle with chopped chili pepper.
  6. Bake the muffins at the bottom of the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  7. They are delicious when served hot.
