Directions

  1. In a bowl, add the dates, cover them with warm water and let them soak for 10 minutes, then drain them well.
  2. Chop the nuts in the bowl of a food processor, transfer them
  3. In a bowl, similarly chop the dates until we get a paste.
  4. Add the chopped nuts, cocoa powder, coconut flakes, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Mix until the ingredients are incorporated.
  6. Grease a 20 cm diameter removable tray with butter.
  7. Transfer the date and nut mixture to the tray, spread over the entire surface and raise 2 cm walls.
  8. Melt the chocolate with the butter in the microwave or over a double boiler.
  9. Add the powdered sugar on top and pour in the milk, mix with a whisk until the ingredients are incorporated.
  10. Add the mixture on top of the dough, level it lightly and refrigerate for 3-4 hours.
  11. Before serving the tart, run a knife around the edges to make sure we can remove the ring from the pan.
  12. Decorate with dates, nuts, and coconut flakes if desired.
  13. Enjoy!
