Directions
In a bowl, beat 150 g butter (room temperature) with eggs and 125 g sugar.
Add 150 grams of sifted flour, baking powder, vanilla extract and 5 tablespoons of water, continuing to beat.
Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Transfer to a baking dish.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Melt 70 g of butter, 25 g of sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk (Căsuța Mea) and almond flakes.
Mix everything until it boils.
Add the almond mixture on top of the cake.
Bake for 5-7 minutes.
Serve cake with ice cream or whipped cream, in the company of friends or family.
