  • Vanilla Extract

  • Almond flakes

Directions

  1. In a bowl, beat 150 g butter (room temperature) with eggs and 125 g sugar.
  2. Add 150 grams of sifted flour, baking powder, vanilla extract and 5 tablespoons of water, continuing to beat.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
  4. Transfer to a baking dish.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Melt 70 g of butter, 25 g of sugar, 3 tablespoons of milk (Căsuța Mea) and almond flakes.
  7. Mix everything until it boils.
  8. Add the almond mixture on top of the cake.
  9. Bake for 5-7 minutes.
  10. Serve cake with ice cream or whipped cream, in the company of friends or family.
  11. Enjoy!
