Directions

  1. In a saucepan with a thicker bottom, add: sugar, honey, and spices.
  2. Place the saucepan over low heat and stir until the ingredients are incorporated (but do not boil).
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl, add the baking soda and mix, add the very cold butter cut into cubes (mix until it melts).
  4. Add the egg on top, mix and finally incorporate the flour in a few batches, then form a ball.
  5. Roll out the dough on baking paper to a thickness of 5 mm.
  6. Cut out the shapes of the walls (sizes can be found below).
  7. Roof x 2: • 5 cm x 9 cm Facades x2 + 1 with door: • 5.5 cm height + 7.5 cm height with slope and 7.5 cm width Door x1: • 3 cm + 4 cm
  8. Trim off the excess dough and bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 10 minutes or until nicely browned.
  9. Take out and cool completely.
  10. In another bowl add egg whites and sugar.
  11. Mix with a mixer 4-5 minutes, pour the lemon juice we continue to mix another 1 minute.
  12. Transfer the icing to a pastry bag, cut off the tip so that patterns can be drawn.
  13. Draw the walls, roof and details with various ornaments.
  14. After it has dried well, glue the walls with glaze and continue with the roof.
  15. Let it cool completely, and then paint the snow, covering all the bumps with it.
  16. Dry well and serve on the holiday table with your loved ones.
